Iphone 12, ios 17.4.1 camera delay opening

My camera app is very slow to open, started 3 days ago

Facial recognition software not functional because the camera app is slow to open.

Camera ‘may’ open

1. after switching back to front to back again…
2. close and reopen camera app…
3. Sometimes it just opens…
4. nothing that uses facial recognition to open apps is working - need to enter password
5. cannot directly access Apple community since the facial recognition does not work….

I have shut down and restarted my phone every day hoping it my reconnect
