I want to control an External 2012 Mac Mini (Catalina 10.15.7) from my Mac Mini (2020) that's running Sonoma using Remote Management. Can I do that, and if not, are there other options? Thank you.

Thank you for replying. The two Mac Mini are on a desk about 6 inches apart. They are hard-wired and connected to a local network with access to WiFi.
Right now the "master" Mac Mini (2020) is using Monterey, but soon it'll be updated to Sonoma. The client Mac Mini (2012) will continue to run Catalina.
The reason is the 2012 Mac Mini runs just about no other apps but Parallels and two "old" Windows apps we don't want to give up.
I apologize, I was wrong - the 2012 Mac Mini is connected to a local WiFi network, but it could easily be hard-wired connected if that made a difference. The two Macs could also be directly connected by hard-wire if that would also make a difference.
OK, in Preferences I'd use Screen sharing instead of remotev Management...
You can, but where are these 2 Macs Located?
If I do that can I use the keyboard, mouse and monitor attached to the Mac running Sonoma to control the client Mac (2012)?
