My Apple TV had been working fine until recently. I plugged it into my Samsung smart tv and it constantly turns on and off. I managed to reset it to factory settings before it shut itself off but it continued to turn on and off and now it won’t turn on at all. The power light just blinks but I never make it to the actual Apple TV Home Screen. I’ve also tried different HDMI cables and the problem persists. Not sure what else I can do?

If you see a continuously flashing status light, that indicates a failure to start up properly. First try a cold restart (disconnect from power for a minute or two). If that doesn’t improve it, then the system software may need to be re-installed externally. Unfortunately, for the 4K model, users can’t do this themselves. Instead, contact Apple Support for assistance.
