Is it possible to temporarily change my Apple ID password?

I’d like to give someone access to a MacBook that still has my Apple ID on it. In order to do so, he’d need my Apple ID password. I trust this person, so that seems fine, but I’d still rather move to a temporary password to allow him access and once that’s done move back to my old password. Is this possible, or will apple block me from using passwords I’ve used previously? Is there another way of solving this?
