Mechanical Engineers on Mac?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to know if there are professionals in mechanical engineering or related fields using 3D CAD software without third-party applications for Windows.

I mean which software do you use?

I want to upgrade my Windows laptop into a MacBook but the only thing that is stopping me is the software for professional use.

I don't think engineers in those fields who work at Apple have Windows on their devices. At least I hope so

Any suggestions for parametric modeling CAD software running natively on Mac or having Windows via third-party apps the only way to go?

If you are a professional talk to your colleagues at the water cooler for their shared experience in the field..

If you are a student then consult with your University department head for course of study and hardware/software recommendations...
