You should probably get with the developer of the app. If the hardware on your device is working everywhere else, then there is obviously something wrong with the app. You can try to remove it and install it again and see if this helps. Other than that, you're going to want to get in touch with the developer as Apple cannot and will not offer support of 3rd party apps. That is the responsibility of the app developer.
