Adding transaction data to numbers spreadsheet

Goal: automate my personal budget hosted on apple numbers using shortcuts.

Info:

• I have seen an automation for "When I tap my X card" trigger
• have created empty table in my apple numbers spreadsheet specifically for transaction data to help with formatting issues
• shortcut:
  • card tapped
  • get transaction data as input
  • Add input to bottom of "CARDTRANSACTIONS" (table )in "ACTIVITY"(sheetname) in "Budget" (spreadsheet)

issues:

• Error received: conversion error. Shortcut failed because Shortcuts couldn't convert from Transaction to Text
• because I can only test this when I using apple pay, the troubleshooting and development is extremely slow.
• I'm not even sure what the transaction data even looks like to do the formatting properly because I'm having an issue with moving it anywhere

relative newbie to shortcuts and that's because the development environment is lacklustre, please explain in terms of a 5 year old (roundball data type doesn't fit in square hole table). I'm thinking about splitting the data into component variables to try and get around the format issues.

EDIT:I tapped my old iPhone on making the post by mistake - I'm using an iPhone 12 mini with iOS 17.4.1

Thanks, I looked through it though this is an abysmal solution. Hoping better functionality is coming to this automation soon!
