Guided access not working

Since the latest iOS update the guided access function no longer works, I discovered that it’s been reset within the settings, but after re-enabling everything I find it still doesn’t work. It also doesn’t seem to register my guided access passcode when I try to set one. My friend with the same iPhone says she has the same problem.

Even if it is greyed out, it will work.


Just to make things clearer. Exit out of Settings, open any App then triple-click the side button. Hurray!


Guided Access will only work inside of an app. Not in Settings or on Home Screen
