Garage band sound library

I have reinstalled it a hundred times it goes away and I can’t change sounds. It should be easy. I don’t want yo give up hours of my life on something that should be easy. Come on Apple! I’m not the only one. Is it on purpose to buy the other thing? Ridiculous waste of time using GarageBand when sound library wont permanently save
