How to optimize surround sound in CarPlay with different iPhones

Hi. Recently I connected my friends iphone 13 pro and iphone 14 to my car via carplay and i noticed that sound quality is really cleaner and sounds more surround than with my phone (iphone 13pro) connected. We checked every setting in the phone in spotiffy app and tryed it in other apps too but i could not figure out why it still doesnt sound as good as with their phones. Sound with my phone doesnt sound surround at all.

iPhone doesn't have surround sound. But many (not all) car systems do. You'd need to use the cars sound system to configure sound to your liking and for that, you'd be best advised to use the owners manual for the infotainment system in your car.
