My iMac fan won't turn OFF since the last update. It just runs and its loud. I tried the SMC re-set. Nothing. This makes this computer unusable. AGAIN.

Have you installed any third-party Fan Control Utilities...?
If so, uninstall the utility as per the developers directions and reset the SMC again.
Then if that doesn't help, or.. if the iMac was opened up and worked on..?

"Have you installed any third-party Fan Control Utilities...?" ...No. I don't know what those are, but if they exist, it tells you this is one of those problems Apple will not help with. This iMac has never been opened up. Thanks for your help. It's a shame Apple won't support their products themselves.
