can not do a control-alt-delete on boot camp.

adding the fn-key to the three keys and making it a "fn-ctrl-alt-delete"-combo should work.

On Apple keyboard the delete-key is a backward-delete while WIndows needs a forward-delete.

Did you try doing a fnctrl+altdel? It does not involve enabling or disabling any compatibility. The fn key is simply changing what windows sees as a backspace, to the delete button.

Are you pressing them in the order - fn + control + option/alt (still holding down all three) and then delete?

I can't imagine what else could be wrong. If you just want the task manager though, you can right click on the taskbar and bring it up that way.
