Canceling an app trial before it expires
what are the steps to cancel. I don’t see the subscription in my list of subscriptions

If you started a free trial on the website of an app, it will not show up as a subscription on your device because it was not started within the app. In this case you will need to cancel the subscription on the same website used to start the free trial.
Some companies prefer you to sign up for free trials and subscriptions on their website to bypass Apple. The reason for this is that Apple will not be able to collect the commission from the subscription and also Apple will not be able to cancel the subscription. I recommend only using the in-app purchase/subscription options to keep you in control of your purchases. When using the in-app method of signing up for a free trial, it will need to be cancelled 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged. You will continue to be able to use the trial until the end date, but cancellation must be done 24 hours before.
