Unable to view my son's location through "Find My"

I was once able to see my son’s location but I can no longer see his location. I have tried sending him requests but it just says Find My is not available. Please try back later.

Find my app no location found I use the find my app to see my daughters location while driving since she’s a new driver. Recently it is saying no location found. Why would that be?

Can see your location When my son turns on his iPad I get “can see your location” in Find My. It has never been an issue before. I have to always ask to follow him. The next time he turns on his iPad, I will get the same “can see your location” under his name in Find My. Any ideas?
