  1. Check the charging cable and adapter: Make sure that both the charging cable and the power adapter are working properly. Try using a different cable and adapter to see if the problem persists.
  2. Inspect the charging port: Check the Lightning port on your iPhone for any debris, lint, or dirt that may be obstructing the connection. Use a flashlight to illuminate the port and gently clean it using a soft, dry brush or a can of compressed air.
  3. Restart your iPhone: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix minor software glitches that may be causing the charging issue. Press and hold the power button until the slider appears, then slide it to power off your iPhone. After it's off, press and hold the power button again until the Apple logo appears to restart your device.
  4. Try a different power source: Plug your iPhone into a different power source, such as a different wall outlet or USB port on your computer. If you were using a wall adapter, try plugging the cable directly into a USB port to see if it charges.
  5. Update your software: Make sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check for and install any available updates.
  6. Perform a hard reset: If your iPhone is still not charging, you can try performing a hard reset. Press and hold the power button and the volume down button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears.
  7. Check for physical damage: Inspect your iPhone for any signs of physical damage, such as a bent or damaged Lightning connector. If you see any damage, you may need to contact Apple Support or visit an authorized service provider for further assistance.
  8. Contact Apple Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there may be a hardware problem with your iPhone. Contact Apple Support or visit an Apple Store for assistance with diagnosing and repairing the issue.
