Scanning a QR Code from a Photo

I saw some threads asking how to scan a QR code from a photo, and the answers ranged from print it out and use the camera to install a third party app... there's an easier way:

Open the photo that has the QR code.

Zoom in on the QR code.

Tap on the QR code.

A pop-up appears giving you the option to open the link in your browser.
