Can I scan QR codes from Photos app on iPhone?

QR code scanner of iPhone doesn’t have an option to upload QR code from saved photos. How to use the QR code form galary.

Open the image with the QR code, and press and hold on the QR code for a second or 2. There QR code should be identified and a menu should appear with options.


For a QR code with text only, it will show the included text at the top of the menu along with some options. For a QR code with a link to a website, it will offer an option to open with Safari or copy along a few other options.

Yeah, it's a little weird. I can use my phone to scan a picture a QR code on my confuter monitor, but I can't scan it directly on my computer-- and same for iPhones and iPads. On my Mac I looked at Quckactions and Services, and it's not there, either. I don't know of an app that would do it.


It seems reasonable, and I think you ought to suggest it to Apple, here:
