Reverse charging problem

hello! I’ve seen some problems with the reverse charging , and I have seen many people having the same problem , but mine is with the LED case. First of all, the case needs power to work, so it has the usb c connector in it , that you need to plug in to work, but even tho, the case is turned off ( it has a on/off button) it drains the iPhone battery . I’ve connected the case to a powerbank, and it does not drain battery from it when the case is turned off. Many people reported problems with the reverse charging , like charging a powerbank. Thank you.

No, reverse charging is not currently feasible on iPhones, even with the iPhone 15. While the iPhone 15 has introduced wireless charging for compatible devices placed on its back, it cannot act as a power bank to charge other devices wirelessly.

Current iPhone 15: Offers standard wired charging and wireless charging for compatible devices placed on its back. No wired reverse charging functionality.

Here are some things you can try:

  • Software Update: Check if there are any updates available for iOS 17. Apple might have released a patch to fix the reverse charging bug.
  • Test with a different cable: Try using a different USB-C cable to connect the case. A faulty cable could be causing the issue.
