Music on PC won't download to iphone

I have a lot of CDs downloaded to my PC, which, in the past, I have been able to transfer to my iphone. (Many of these CDs are European and not available through itunes or any other streaming program.) Not only can I no longer load music from my PC to my phone, but in the last two months, every time I try to transfer music from my PC to my iphone, music is erased from my phone and I can't reload back onto the phone. I attempted everything, including converting the music on the PC to ACC format, but that didn't work either. I've re-loaded the CDs to the PC, that didn't work either.

I have an iphone 13 Pro. Both the computer and phone are updated. I am ready to dump apple, they are making it so difficult to download music from CDs, load music already on a PC to a phone, and to make matters worse the program is erasing music that was already on my phone.

Use iTunes Match

Hi, thanks. I have itunes on my PC, not apple music. So, all of my music was downloaded to the itunes app. Apple music will not download to my PC. My iphone has a subscription to apple music. I have 'sync' checked on both the computer and iphone. That doesn't seem to be the issue. It's the random deletion of music that was already on my phone. Every time I sync my iphone with the PC or try to add music to my iphone, the sync results in a loss of music on my iphone and I can't reload the deleted music to my iphone.
