vaccination card in apple wallet keeps forcing its way to the top of the list

Mine doesn’t do that. It’s been at the bottom of my list since I loaded it several years ago. I’ve not seen this behavior posted about here in the community either. The only thing I can think of is, some cards are date sensitive and can move by themselves because of the data, sort of a chronological sorting order. I’d suggest contacting Apple Support and asking for an explanation.

I have the same problem, ever since these cards appeared in 2021, and so do many others. I suspect the responder above who said he doesn’t have this issue isn’t talking about an Apple vaccination card, but about a vaccination card issued by a different entity.

What in the world is an "Apple vaccination card"?, never heard of such a thing, it doesn't make sense that Apple would issue vaccination cards.

And yet, it does. Go to the Apple Health app. Scroll to “Immunisations”. Link your State- or other regional or national Health Authority-validated Covid immunisation record. Your QR code will now be in the Apple app. And, and, you will have an option to save it in Apple Wallet as a pink-coloured card, which will always be at the top of the stack. You’re welcome.

I see what you are talking about. I have state and county health department vaccination records saved in my Apple Wallet. You just threw me off by calling them "Apple vaccination card", I just considered them vaccination records saved in the Apple Wallet.

They usually stay at the top of the bottom stack until something else gets added above the vaccination record. Which is what happened when I linked/saved a CVS pharmacy card to the Apple Wallet, it was added above the vaccination record.
