Depends. iCloud is more of a syncing service, whereas Google offers actual cloud storage with a file structure, etc.- if you want an image of your device to restore to in case of catastrophe or a way to sync photos/notes/etc. between devices, you might find iCloud more useful. If you want cloud storage to store photos or files in and also remove them from your device, Google might be a better fit instead.
