How to stop duplicate box from blocking bookmarks on MacBook Air Sonoma 14

How do I rid my computer of the 2nd box that has appeared under Search Bar, blocking my Bookmarks space and repeating everything I type in Search Bar and everywhere else - including what I'm typing here right now in this inquiry. How do you get rid of this awful invader??
