Sleep mode

I’m finding it slightly annoying that when I choose my sleep focus I have a choice to pick a wallpaper then when I choose the wallpaper and the sleep focus is set I get a black screen with white clock numbers.

I have an iPhone 14, this does not have AOD yet they say to reduce distractions the screen is set to black..I wanna know why I can’t have the choice to choose to see the wallpaper when I touch the screen like why do I have to have black option only? I like the sleep focus and I know I can choose another focus but then it has the winding down function why can’t I have both 😠 …or am I missing something?

I guess you are referring to Standby mode.

Connect the iPhone to a charger and set it down on its side, keeping it stationary.

Check if the Widget Suggestion is turned on or Off. See the pic below
