I have a MacBook Pro that uses Yahoo Mail forwarded to the Apple mail app. I recently received a message saying “The message””could not be moved to the mailbox. “Recovered Messages (Yahoo)” It then went on to say The IMAP command “APPEND” (to POA/Minutes/Recovered Messages (Yahoo!) failed with server error: APPEND contains deleted flag.
I cannot make this message go away and cannot resolve the problem so that I can use the mail function.
Can anyone help me figure this out?
when you say forwarded, do you really mean,
"I read my Yahoo Mail with Apple Mail.app" ?
... assuming that is the case, there is no forwarding involved (actual forwarding is possible, but MUCH more complicated).
for most such problems, use WebMail (A very fancy term for a very ordinary process of accessing Mail on your Yahoo mail server account directly. You use a Web browser to surf to Yahoo mail site and log in and check your Mail. This may allow you to resolve any outstanding issues.
