I have a family slideshow in Photos with over 100 photos on it. How can I pull out individule photos? Or is there a way to extract all of them from being a slideshow?

What kind of slideshow is it? Is it a video you saved from the slideshow? Or do you still have the slideshow project in Photos for Mac?
If the photos are still in the slideshow project, you can double-click the photo on the slide and it will open in the editor. From there you can use the File menu to export the photo from Photos.

Things have changed some since 2012...
You'll need to capture them frame by frame.
