How can I fix my MacBook Air charger that stopped working after overheating?

i have a 2017 macbook air and the charger gets pretty hot sometimes not all the time but one day it stopped working for until i tried it again and i pushed the plug into the macbook and held it there and it started working until now. i pushed it in again and it’s back to not working. please help me resolve this my macbook is completely dead

Overheating Charging Brick:

It's time for a new charger. You charing brick appear damages, like due to a poker pike or power spur (both typical when not using a surge protector). Find out which to get here: Identify your Mac Power Adapter - Apple Support

Go Here: If your Mac doesn't Turn On or Start Up - Apple Support

Using External Devices: Try Resetting the SMC and NVRAM, but this time, using an external keyboard. Connect an external monitor and see if you get an output.
