my other iPhone was locked and I couldn’t remember the passcode so I decided to format the phone so I can log in to the iCloud account but again the password was wrong so I provided the mobile number that was connected to the iCloud to get the code and start recovery why you guys keep giving me extra days to wait , wait for what??????

No one here is limiting your time. This is a feature of the iOS. And these are just user-to-user forums. No one here has access to your account info, and that is a good thing, BTW.
Accessing a Locked iPhone Outside the Time Allotted:
You can't. Wait the the time remaining --like it or not. If you don't, and you keep fiddling with it, then you may be locked out for good. So, let it sit, and then get to a computer after this allotted time has ended: If you Forgot your iPhone Passcode -Apple Support

If is comes to it, you’d have to take it in for service. To do so, set up a Genius Bar Appointment at your local Apple Store. There your account will be evaluated, and you’ll be assisted with getting it unlocked.
