How to annotate sheet music on IPAD

I downloaded sheet music song book onto my iPad Pro and I want to make annotations to help me play better. I can’t figure out how to do that there is no smart annotation tool bar

Apple Music Playlist not showing edited music After updating to iOS 18 my phone, which has content restrictions turned on, would show playlist with the explicit versions of music. This was not normal as when contact restrictions is on the edited version of a song should show in the playlist of available. For instance, Hip Hop workout playlist from Apple Music will show edited versions of available songs and allow you to save the playlist with any songs that only have explicit versions grayed out. After iOS 18 upgrade these playlist would show up on my phone with every song greyed out. This was only happening on my phone. If I looked at the playlist on my Mac, it would still show the edited versions as part of the playlist. [Edited by Moderator]

Changes to music app after update to iOS 17.1.2 on 9th gen iPad I updated to iOS 17.1.2 and now my alphabet index for music is gone when I create a new playlist or edit an existing one. On the right hand side of my songs listing, the alphabet was displayed so that I could quickly skip to songs beginning with that letter. That feature appears to have disappeared. It also is a bit odd that to add music, I don’t select the “+” sign, that is to the left of “Add Music”, but instead select the “Add Music” text. It also is at the bottom of the playlist and prior to the update it was at the top of the playlist. It is preferred to have it at the top. Also, when I am playing music and my Home Screen goes to sleep, I still see the song that I have chosen to play, in a mini song play view, but the volume indicator is missing. I thought both features appeared in prior iOSes. An enhancement to think about. It would be nice if the notes app had an index like the song listing has. This would be very convenient to be able to skip to a note that begins with a specific letter.

Changing pitch of tracks on Apple music Is there a way to change the pitch of Apple music tracks on the iphone? There must be loads of musicians and vocalists like me who want to pratice songs in a lower or higher key. Allowing subscribers to do this sounds like a no-brainer but… ?
