The G Drive Mobile USB-C is no longer being recognized on my macbook pro since I updated it to Sonoma 14.4.1. Is there a way to remove this Sonoma update and be able to use the portable backup drive again? Thanks.

If your G Drive Mobile USB-C drive is no longer recognized on your MacBook Pro after updating to macOS Sonoma 14.4.1, try restarting your Mac, using a different USB-C port, updating the firmware on the drive, or contacting G Technology Support.
I tried two different USB-C ports and two different cords - no success. There is no firmware update available. I will try to contact G Technology Support. If they can't help, I guess I will reformat my laptop since you didn't provide information on how to uninstall macOS Sonoma 14.4.1. Regards,
G technology support was the way to go. They sent several suggestions and said no firmware update was required. The issue is resolved and a rollback of Sonoma wasn’t necessary. The portable backup is completely operational now. Kudos to G techs
