How to take 2017 model back to factory settings

2017 mac air died, bought 2024 model, old one came back to life! How do I take the 2017 model back to factory settings so I can give to my daughter?

1 - Open Recovery mode by holding Command + R on startup.

2 - Once booted into recovery mode, select disk utility from the recovery options window.

3 - In the top right corner of the window, click the button to show all devices.

4 - Select your internal SSD and erase it.

5 - Once erased, quit disk utility and select “Reinstall macOS” from the recovery options menu.
