On iPhoneadjust the sound volume of media, alerts, and sound effects using the side buttons, Siri, or Control Center. When you're on the phone or listening to songs, movies, or other media on iPhone, you can use the buttons on the side of your device to adjust the audio volume. Otherwise, the buttons control the volume for the ringer, alerts, and other sound effects. You can also use Siri to turn the volume up or down.

Adjust the volume on iPhone

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio & Visual > Headphone Accommodations. Turn on Headphone Accommodations, then tap Custom Audio Setup.

Adjust audio settings on iPhone

  1. Help for Notification Alerts --> No Notification Alerts - Apple Community
  2. To turn ON notifications selectively for apps, go to Settings > Notifications > Scroll Down to the App and turn ON notifications... Change notification settings on iPhone - Apple Support (IN)
  3. Some apps have their own notification settings over and above the iOS notification settings: An example of Instagram Notification settings is given below
