How can I get applecare for my 3 year old i phone XR IOS 17.3?

Is my i phone too old for applecare+? I bought it from an Apple store in June 2021.

Yes, it's too old.

AppleCare+ for iPhone can be purchased during the first 60 days after an iPhone purchase.
