MacBook left for repair now "lost" what next?

MacBook left 2 weeks ago with genius bar to send out for repair and never got it back. Spent two days on phone with Apple support and after six dropped calls there is no record of my communication. They didn't know where it was. Walked into store three days after it should have been returned to me and was told a ticket was submitted, I should wait five business days. Asked for updates and nothing.

Now there are no tracking updates and no records of my repair ID conversations or follow up.

I think it was stolen. I don't know what to do the only solution offered by the Apple store manager was to buy myself a new one. But they "lost" it not me.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.15

Some things to try: Call the store back and ask for the contact information for the store manager's superior. Contact them, documenting everything (date, time, who you spoke to). Call Support back and escalate the call. I think the department may be called something like "Executive Relations". Send an email to Tim Cook's office. The information is out there.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to do this.

Best of luck.
