PDFs are not rendering properly on Books with current iOS/iPadOS

Some pdfs are not rendering properly on apple books with current ios/ipados, the same pdfs render fine in adobe acrobat on the same devices. Is there a setting that i am missing? I would prefer to have all of my books and pdfs readable using the same app, preferably Apple Books.

Apple Devices showing blank pages in pdfs exported from Indesign Hi everyone, I'm having some issues with Apple devices not displaying certain pages of a pdf I've exported from Adobe Indesign (v18.2.1). On Macs and iPhones, pages 5, 8, 18, 23-26 and 35 are only shown as blank pages, the content is missing. What I've found out so far: - The pdf works fine in Adobe Acrobat on all platforms (Mac, Windows, iOS 16). - The pdf also has no issues when viewed inline in Safari on macOS Ventura. - the pages mentioned above are shown blank when viewed inline in Safari in iOS, and als in the Books app in iOS 16. - they are also blank in the Preview app on macOS Ventura. I've already tried resizing the images on these pages in Indesign, to no avail. I'm exporting pdf 1.4, the images are downsized to 200dpi. Any ideas? Thanks, Gebhard [Link edited by Moderator]

Adobe Acrobat files not available in Files app When using the Files app on iPadOS 18.3 I have Acrobat and Adobe Scan listed as file locations. Clicking on Acrobat results in an error screen: “Content unavailable, contents could not be displayed due to an error.”Clicking on Adobe Scan shows all files.

WHY are my PDFs showing up in Books? Recently my PDFs are showing up in icons or a list or a grid when I want to opened, read or send a PRIVATE PDF. The only icon I see is BOOKs. I called a senior at apple and was told Books not handle PDFs, that PREVIEW went away years ago -- hmmm, I have a new MBAir w.M2 chip and the disappearance is about 6months into STILL HAVING 'PRIVATE, SINGULAR , PDFs' going thru successfully I NO LONGER SEE NOR FEEL THE PRIVACY IN BOOKS- EVERYTHING ON THE PAGE LOADS and gives the receiver choices of what to ick to read,, IN HAVE SENT MYSELF quite a few and upon opening what PRESENTS as a "PDF" S. Many show up when I want to attach a private PDF- How can I get Preview back - I am no techie so please try to keep assistance, from afar ... simple + step by step to fix. Thank your for an anticipated "rescue"!
