Can I recover deleted photos from my iPhone XR?

Good afternoon, in March of this year I switched from iPhone X to iPhone 15 pro max. At the same time, I transferred the data to the new phone and everything was fine. Then I decided to delete the photos from the XR. And then I used the new phone without any problems, and until yesterday I had 5250 photos and videos. I didn’t log out of iCloud on my iPhone xr and yesterday, unfortunately, something terrible happened to me. When I came home and connected to wi-fi, my new iPhone erased all the photos that I deleted from the old iPhone. I felt very bad and sad from this, because my whole life has been there for the last 6 years... the backup created in the morning (the incident occurred late in the evening) did not restore my data, the icloud storage was also emptied. I would like to know if somehow I can restore these photos and videos? There is no backup copy on the computer; the backup copy that was created before this disaster did not help me. I ask you, if possible, to help save photos and videos that are dear to me. Sincerely, your long-time user Stanislav.

I take it that you were using iCloud Photos to synchronize photos between devices.

If you delete a photo or video on any device that is connected to iCloud Photos, that is taken as a request to delete the photo or video everywhere, including in iCloud. It sounds like this is what happened to you. You deleted all of your photos on the old phone (iPhone X), it passed the deletion request on to Apple's iCloud servers – and as soon as the new phone (iPhone 15 Pro Max) learned of the deletion, it deleted its copies.

If you deleted the photos and videos in the last 30 days, they may be in a Recently Deleted photos album – from which you can recover them.

That assumes that you did not go into the Recently Deleted album and delete stuff from there (which would have caused a permanent deletion before the 30 days were up). Also, if you've been playing around with resetting the phone and restoring backups and such, I don't know if you might have wiped out anything in the Recently Deleted album in the process.

Still, it wouldn't hurt to take a look. See "Recover deleted photos or videos" in
