is it possible for me to request for a new emoji? I know it’s probably a stupid question but I’ve been curious.

Well, neither Apple nor other manufacturers can decide about emoji proposals.
There is a specific organization called Unicode about that, and yes, you can submit your request using this link: https://unicode.org/emoji/proposals.html
