MacBook stuck in migration assistant
I've recently bought a new MacBook Air, and decided to move all my previous data to my new laptop.
I followed a tutorial on YouTube, whereby they use Migration Assistant to move everything from one to another.
(I use Wifi to help me migrate, at that time, I did not know that it was the worse method of doing so.)
So I followed the instructions and everything was fine in the beginning, but the migration got stuck halfway through and the amount of files being transferred were not moving even though 1 hour has passed. so I decided to quit the migration.
I first stopped the migration on my new MacBook and went ahead to stop the migration on my old MacBook.
This is where the issue starts.
I can stop and reset my new MacBook but the old MacBook got stuck on Migration Assistant page and none of the options were clickable.
I've tried to force shutdown and turn on my MacBook but it kept on leading me back to Migration Assistant page.
I force shutdown again and booted into recovery mode, none of which allows me to exit Migration Assistant.
I force shutdown again and booted into safe mode, none of which allows me to exit Migration Assistant.
I began to randomly tapping and holding keys, hoping one will help me to exit Migration Assistant, but none were helpful.
I could tap onto Fn + Control + Power Button, which shows me a new shutdown window, but I am unable to click anything after it show up.
Please please please help me with a solution to help me exit myself from Migration Service.
PS : My old MacBook is MacBook Pro 2012, running on MacOS 10.14.5
