I partitioned my Mac awhile ago and couldn't load up my old MacOS which forced me to create a new one with less storage (75gb). But I was wondering if there was any possibility to regain access to the missing 176gb of storage ?
The most complete method for success is to erase/reformat/initialize the top most parent drive.
Not the Volume level, not the Container level..
From a bootable USBinstaller or Internet Recovery: DiskUtility>View>Show All devices
Boot into Internet Recovery (Option Command R) and from the dropdown menu: Utilities> Disk Utility
then you reinstall the macOS and restore your user data from backup.
