iPhone camera no longer scans QR code

I had no issue until the latest update of the phone. Camera no longer is scanning QR codes which is very frustrating. I have checked camera setting and QR code scanning is enabled. I’m pretty convinced it’s something to do with a recent update as my kids haven’t updated their phone and they can still scan the QR codes. Where is the point of updating the phone to fix bugs when they are actually being created? Every time I update my phone something what was working fine suddenly stops working correctly. Apple get a grip on your software, your quality is getting worse.. Fix this bug as soon as possible in the next update as QR code scanning is needed!

I hope these solutions help you resolve your issue.

1. **Reset your iPhone's camera settings:** Go to Settings > Camera and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Tap "Reset" and then tap "Reset Camera Settings."

2. **Check for third-party camera apps:** If you have any third-party camera apps installed, try using them to scan QR codes. If the third-party apps can scan QR codes, then the issue is likely with the built-in Camera app.

3. **Contact Apple Support:** If the issue persists, contact Apple Support for further assistance. You can do this through the Apple Support website or by phone.

**Additional tips:**

* Make sure the QR code is in focus and well-lit.

* Clean the lens of your iPhone's camera.

* Try scanning the QR code from different angles.

* If you are scanning a QR code from a screen, make sure the screen is bright enough.
