iPhone 15 plus car dash holder

My iPhone 15 Plus is too heavy for my dash mounted magnetic holder. I wonder about glueing a stronger magnet onto the existing magnet in the holder. Would that work, and would a strong magnet harm the iPhone?

Magnets can interfere with compass functionality and some magnetometer-based features on iPhones. A strong magnet glued to the holder may cause permanent damage to the iPhone's internal components.
