Cannot soft Apple music by file type but I have MPEG/MP3 duplicates SOS

I created duplicates of all my music in MPEG/MP3 format but now to my horror I see that I cannot sort by file type. How do I select the MP3s to export to an SD card for the car, please?

It has a USB input, so I bought a mini USB flash drive that I want to load music onto. All my music is ripped from CDs I own, not purchased from Apple, in high bitrate MP3 format for just this reason - a lot of older car stereos will not play AAC (M4a) files. Can we just have simple old iTunes back?

Can't copy Music files from MacBook to external drive Copied iTunes/Apple music From My iPhone to my New MacBook. But can't transfer them to a external drive. I tried to use the copy command in Music and to click and drag the files. Most of the files are MPG audio files. Some are ACC but not purchase from Apple. Ihave some recording that I copied for LPs nd want to save. When I click and drag the file move to the HD folder than snap back. If I copy them in music, it copies all night but the files don't copy. it is like they are read only or locked. but the file folder are not locked.

I am unable to convert Apple Music files to MP3 After reading various articles on converting Apple/itunes files to m3p files, the steps work but apple is still not letting you click on a song and then convert it, even holding down the shift key allows you to "convert" but nothing happens because it says it's not in my library which is not true! All I want to do is add a song to an invitation I am sending for a party. The invite app will only accept m3p files. So now I have no music to accompany my invite--bummer. I am going to delete/cancel Apple music and just limp along with iturnes that I've had forever. Of course itunes 3is Apple so I am screwed, I guess. Why does this have to be so complicated....... In Songs View, make sure the column for "Kind" is enabled and then sort by Kind.
