Cancel Apple music subscription

I needed to cancel my apple music subscription to change the country in the app store. I canceled my subscription, but I still get a notification «to change the region, you need to cancel my apple music subscription». why?

It counts as active until the expiry date. If you can't wait until then, click here and ask Apple Support for assistance.
