In my strings for remote the Clickpad option it will not let me change to click and touch option

Identify your Apple TV remote - Apple Support

The settings for changing clickpad functionality is for the Siri Remote (2nd generation or later). It isn’t available for the black Siri Remotes. Could that be it?
