Apple Watch / iPhone will not control sound volume

Apple Watch Series 6 and iPhone 13 Pro -- when I play music from Spotify on Sonos speakers, neither volume control works...they both work when playing from my Music Library. Is this a Spotify/Sonos issue?

When my Apple watch (6, 10.01) is not connected to the iPhone (13, 17.0.2), I use music downloaded to the watch eg. when running but I cannot change the volume either from Digital Crown or haptics menu. The slider turns green and moves up and down but no change. It works fine in every other situation.

Improve Apple Music audio quality on Apple Watch I have recently purchased an Apple Watch 11 to partner my iPhone 17. My wireless headphones used to connect to the phone but that is not possible because the pairing is now used by the watch. The codecs and streaming on the watch make the sound terrible compared to the phone. What are my options? Is there some way to improve streaming audio quality of Apple Music on the watch that I am not aware of? Or do I just unpair the watch from the phone when I want better sound while on the move? I am using Soundpeats H3 ANC headphones and have no interest in buying anything else to replace them.

Unable to play Spotify on my Apple Watch Series 10 Hi, I recently purchased an Apple Watch Series 10. I saw that you can play music through its speakers, but it doesn't work very well when using Spotify. It just loads the song for a bit and then plays it using my iPhone’s speakers.
