Hi all you little apples, I am an 80+ newbie and am enjoying my 13pro. I have one question. when someone, a stranger, sends ( airdrops ) me a photo and I download it without having any details of the sender, can I then search my phone and retrieve that persons phone # ????

Nope. No information is provided. Strangers should only be able to AirDrop you photos when you have set the option to receive them from Everyone and that is only for 10 minutes. You can check this at Settings > General > AirDrop, and change it to Contacts Only to prevent getting these AirDrops.
