My cinematic mode is not working

i have iPhone 14 Plus and while recording in cinematic mode the recording it’s self not starting while clicking on record button and also it’s stuck at the time of opening cinematic mode

my iphone wont record. it can do anything in the camera app except the record option. the screen goes black when i choose record I have not been able to record for days now. When i enter the camera app everything except the option to record works. When i tap record, the camera portion of the screen becomes black. I can use slow mo but not record. When i tap the record button despite the obvious problem, it only records sound. However, it also has a thumbnail for the video as if it really had recorded, and this is for facecam and back cam. When i allow flash to be on, it uses it no matter the real world lighting. I also cannot use cinematic, but can use time lapse.

Why is the red dot not showing up when I start recording on my iPhone 15? Not sure what happened as it used to work normally, tried to remove and re-add the screen recording button but that did nothing. This is on an iPhone 15 by the way. Let me know if anybody knows the solution to this problem. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
