I am unable to text Android contacts from my iPhone

I am having difficulties when I text a contact with an android device. The text do not go through at all. Been happening for 4-5 days. Anyone experiencing this issue?

Open the Settings App. Then tap Messages and scan down to make sure you have Send as SMS and MMS Messaging turned on. If you do and you still can't send to an Android, your carrier needs to be contacted as that would mean they haven't provisioned your account appropriately for SMS/MMS Messaging.

Check...

Settings->Messages->make sure both Send as SMS and MMS Messaging are turned on. Communicating with Android users requires traditional SMS/MMS which is provided by your cell carrier. Most cellular plans include SMS/MMS texting service either unlimited or a specified number of texts.

You need to have an SMS plan enabled by your carrier for the SIM/eSIM that you use on your device. Apple Inc does not provide SMS/MMS services.
