Oversaturation of colors, & whites washing out check boxes/circles & anywhere white exists

I have no idea why the colors on my computer have changed to be oversaturated or whites washing things out. It has also effected the pictures on my computer, ie. orange faces. This started yesterday after I inverted a menu from dark to white background so I could print it. The rest of my computer was still fine at this point. Adjusting brightness is no help. The color profile is 'color LCD'. Default resolution 1440 x 900. Appearance is 'Auto'. I also ran disk utility first aid. No help. Really hoping someone has a solution.

You may have turned Display contrast on.

System Settings > Accessibility

Make sure the slider for Display contrast is all the way to the left for Normal.
