After iMac upgrade to Monterey from El Capitan, how do I fix documents that are now "upside down"

I upgraded iMac from El Capitan to Monterey. Now ALL of my documents are "upside down," excel, word, etc.

Is there a global setting change I need to adjust?

Document folder empties after 12.7 Monterey update Yesterday my Mac desktop auto-updated to Monterey 12.7. Now when I go to Finder, my Documents folder is totally empty when I access it via Home or when I access it via iCloud. I had all my docs organized by subject folders inside Documents. It looks like all the documents ended up in Recents but there's no way for me to know for sure. In Finder, if I search on a Documents Folder name, the named folder comes up along with any documents including those search words. Is there any way I can get all my Document folders back in Finder under Documents where they were before Monterey update?

Why did my Documents file disappear from my MacBook Air local drive with last apple update? With last Monterrey 12.7.6 update my local Documents file disappeared. Gone. It and all files were still on iCloud, but nowhere locally. I didn't reconfigure anything. How do I get my Documents file to reside locally on my MacBook Air as well?

I understand all of your documents are rendered upside down. Do all those documents include non-Microsoft apps such as their Apple equivalents Numbers and Pages, respectively?
