Gifting book, movie, app, not working

I had trouble gifting a book to a friend via the Books app. Doing a web search apparently people are having similar problems with Apple TV and the App store.

The solution is to sign out of Media and Purchases and sign back in. How you do this varies depending on the device, I found it easier on my iPad.

You can no longer purchase a movie as a gift on the iTunes Store -- it redirects me to Apple TV, which does not allow gift purchases. Is there any way to do this? This used to be possible until a month or two ago through the method outlined on this site: Gift apps, media, and more from Apple - Apple Support But the steps no longer work on my iPhone/iPad. On iTunes Store, you can no longer buy movies at all. So how do I buy a movie as a gift? Thank you

Gift button? Hi Am I missing something or is there no button in Apple TV to gift a movie etc to another user or family member like there is in the ITunes app?

In-App Purchases on Apple Ipad Pro and Iphone 11 I just recently got a new iPad Pro. And I have had an iPhone 11 for just a little under a year. I am trying to figure out why my iPad won’t allow an app digital purchases on my movie app VUDU.I tried to purchase the same thing through my phone, in case it was because I only recently got my iPad, But then it said the same thing on my phone. Before getting my iPad I had previously purchased a movie through this app on my iPhone 11. But now I can’t do in app purchases through either devices.
